The Role
* Permanent Part-Time
* 3-4 days / week with potential to extend (flexible on hours)
As Theory’s Studio Manager, you’ll wear many hats—part project manager, part account manager. You’ll work to ensure our studio runs smoothly, projects stay on track, and our team is empowered to produce outstanding work. You’ll also play a pivotal role in fostering strong client relationships, and driving new opportunities for growth.
As a critical member of our tight-knit team, you’ll be comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects. You will be a team player who is keen to help shape the direction of our small yet multi award winning studio.
Salary Range :
80k - $85k + Super pro rata, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
* Studio Operations: Manage the day-to-day workflow, ensuring smooth coordination between all team members. Identify opportunities to enhance the delivery of the agency’s services, expand our client base, and drive revenue growth.
* Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from initial briefing through to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and creative quality are met.
* Client Relationships: Be a trusted advisor to our clients, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring their brand goals are met with strategic and creative excellence.
* Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to maintain financial health and sustainability.
* Brand & Creative Integrity: Working alongside our Creative Director, ensure all work aligns with Theory Agency’s high standards and strategic brand philosophy.
Who You Are
* A natural leader with experience in studio, agency, or project management within the creative industry.
* A strategic thinker with an understanding of brand, marketing, and design.
* A strong communicator, adept at building relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Highly organised, with an ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
* Comfortable managing budgets and financial performance to ensure agency growth.
* Passionate about the power of branding and design in shaping business success.
Tools & Platforms
You’ll be working with a range of tools, including:
* Project Management software
* CRM & Client Management software
* Adobe Creative Cloud (a plus but not required)
* Microsoft Office
Must Haves:
* 3+ years of demonstrated industry experience in a similar / previous role
* Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously
* Exceptional communication / interpersonal skills
Nice-to-Haves: (as a small studio, the following skills would be beneficial but are not essential)
* Copywriting Skills
* Illustration or artistic talents
* Design / design software experience
