You'll also receive every 8 th week off paid. Morning shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm Evening shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Weekend OT available Every day worked you'll bank 1 hour which will go towards one week paid leave every 8 weeks. (not included as your entitled AL) The role As a highly skilled HV electrician, you'll be responsible for all electrical maintenance and repair at Sydney's Port Botany. All of your work will be completed from a well-equipped workshop. Electrical and mechanical fault finding, preventative maintenance and emergency repair work on a range of machinery. Including Straddle Carriers, Reach Stackers, Forklift trucks, Quay cranes and ancillary equipment. Work on a range of Siemens the S7 PLC, CITECT, AC & DC drives and crane management software Working on variable speed drives, control logic on wiring diagrams, and off grid generator systems. Your value You will be a trade qualified electrician with a well-rounded knowledge of electrical fault finding and repairs on port equipment and/or mobile plant. Electrical trade qualification Hydraulic and mechanical knowledge (highly regarded) An excellent attitude towards work with proven ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Working knowledge and use of electrical schematics and symbols Must demonstrate working knowledge of Siemens the S7 PLC, CITECT, AC & DC drives Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and MSIC check (provided by the employer) This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term permanent position.
