Our Water Group in Brisbane is experiencing substantial growth with long-term partnership relationships in the water market and a strong pipeline of work, there is a continued focus on growth over the next five years. As such, we are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Brisbane Team. The Opportunity: Perform process engineering design tasks, which may include preparing PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, reports and design criteria to support complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities. Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors in preparation and coordination of project specifications. Perform calculations to analyse, model and design process components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software. Contribute to the development of processes through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats. Prepare process engineering documents by developing process specifications, plans and schedules. Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent. Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables. Assist with site investigations as well as commissioning and construction support works as required by the projects. Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating to support engineering projects. Provide mentoring, work checking and informal guidance to graduate level staff. About you: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, with relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry. Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients. Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
