We do this to make the world fairer and life better.To learn more and see our work in action, some of the media coverage can be found here: Community Resources News.What You’ll DoBe the driver: Ensuring the set of accounts and general ledger systems are maintained, on time and accurate.Collaborate and brief: Work closely with our leadership and functional managers to support them to follow process and gain insight into their financial results.Maintain integrity of systems and processes: Ensuring the security of financial systems and the integrity of audit.In this role you will undertake financial and management accounting activities, through delivering a set of accounts and preparation of various reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, that include initial insights into understanding variances and delivering managers clear information to make decisions on.This is a hybrid role, working mostly from home; however, we prefer a candidate in the Illawarra region who is able to access our Port Kembla office on a weekly basis.About YouYou are an individual with boundless energy, commitment and passion for social and environmental good. You understand the impact of quality. You are an experienced, organised and dynamic Senior Accountant ready to undertake financial and management accounting activities.You will have:At least 4 years of experience in the full range of Management accounting activities.Skills in forecasting and control of liquidity.Ability to analyse and communicate financial information.Highly proficient technical skills in accounting applications (MYOB Advanced and Phocas is highly desired).Excellent communication and well-developed interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.Tact, diplomacy and assertiveness in applying policy.Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce or similar.Will have completed CPA/CA.For more information and how to applyApplications close COB Monday 24 February 2025.
