Additional shifts available at Tamworth Community Health Service, Tamworth Hospital, and surrounding areas such as Walcha, Manilla, and Werris Creek
Remuneration:
$36.38-$51.08 per hour + 11.5% Super + Salary Packaging
About the Role:
This role involves working within our Chronic and Complex Care team, providing hearing assessments to community clients referred by healthcare providers or through self-referral.
You will primarily work with children, ensuring they receive timely and accurate hearing assessments.
The service operates Monday to Friday, within standard business hours.
Responsibilities:
Conduct hearing assessments for community clients of all ages
Work independently while knowing that support is always available from a strong clinical support network
Provide high-quality client-centered care with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Unit Manager, and broader team to ensure comprehensive support is available
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to relevant policies and procedures
Participate in professional development opportunities, including study and conference leave
About You:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who:
Has a qualification in audiometry from a Registered Training Organisation or is at least halfway through their studies
Possesses strong communication and computer skills
Enjoys working with children and providing high-quality client-centered care
Can work independently while knowing that support is always available
Is eager to engage in professional development opportunities, including study and conference leave

Requirements:
Must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport
