Contract position - 38 hours per week (minimum) Cannon Hill office, flexible working arrangement Supervisor for estimating and delivery of works, WHS and compliance Company: This company has historically managed building maintenance, surveying, engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, program management & property services for the QLD Government. They are now looking to appoint a trade qualified electrician or HVAC Technician with existing supervisor experience to manage school correspondence and contractor correspondence for the A/C repair and replacement program throughout SEQ. Position: Work in a team communicating with contractors, schools and Senior supervisors on project status Assist in managing a mailbox for replacements for Air Condition system within school Across SEQ. This will be a full time five day a week position with the possibility of overtime. Manage School correspondence & contractor correspondence in the follow up of: Condition Report follow up & repair / replacement status. Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to customers. Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames. Ability to connect with industry, local suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services. Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture while being prepared to perform recurring work. Be dedicated to customer satisfaction, and within boundaries, develop an outcome which achieves both customer and business objectives. Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems (i.e., in Ellipse and Microsoft Office). Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes. Maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures. Effectively undertake general administration functions as required. Provide value for money checks on mechanical / electrical works. Create quotes and tenders via the government portals. Create scopes and cost estimates for mechanical and electrical works. Your Experience and Qualifications: Ideally possess 5 years of recent post-trade experience as an Electrician or HVAC technician Demonstrate previous Supervisory or Team leader capabilities Previous experience estimating in electrical or air conditioning field Class drivers license Construction Induction – white card Blue Card – working with children is an advantage (or willing to obtain) Capable providing technical advice to stakeholders Must be able to pass a criminal history check What next: For a confidential discussion about this position, please contact Jesse, or you can hit the link and apply today.
