About the Role The Senior Program Lead - Operating Model and Organisation Design is a key role within the People Stream of a large, complex, confidential program, accountable for advising, leading and assuring workforce strategies and plans, organisation design, delivery and tracking to support the varied phases of the program lifecycle for specific business areas.
This role will lead and support a team of 3-4 SMEs and transformation practitioners to deliver target outcomes, ensure plans are dynamic, adaptive and relevant and aligned to broader ANZ Enterprise workforce commitments with key responsibilities including:
Leading a team and accountable for a large stream of work as part of an Enterprise Program Design and delivery of a revised global operating model and associated strategic workforce plan, drawing on an ecosystem of business, finance, technology and HR SMEs Complex stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders Developing and presenting materials to executive and C-suite audiences Co-developing transformation roadmaps, including defining and solving for dependencies, risks and issues relating to success of the stream and its deliverables Identifying upstream and downstream impacts of design and transformation decisions across divisional/ functional value chains Translating operating model and workforce design into organisation design and implementation in collaboration with Organisation Design practitioners Develop end-products that meet enterprise, program and business needs Role Type: 12mos Fixed-term Contract

What will your day look like? Your key accountabilities will include:
Lead development and execution of a commercial workforce strategy, operating model and organisation design - considering short and long-term goals and broader ANZ system considerations related to location, size, shape, capability, capacity Identify, escalate and/or address delivery risks and issues that may impact legal and regulatory obligations, execution timelines or desired program outcomes Develop and uphold strong workforce principles which focus on Employee Experience and still meeting strategic and commercial goals and regulatory commitments Provide strategic workforce guidance and assurance to the business as it relates to workforce matters Ensure delivery excellence with dynamic, "minimum viable product" mindset including constant alignment with broader, interdependent streams that are moving at pace Advise and guide on strategic choices and trade-offs, where there are multiple/competing priorities at play, impacting workforce choices, with ability to influence positive whole-of-system outcomes in complex environments Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive end-to-end alignment of functional strategy, business architecture, existing talent management strategies and design deliverables What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Expertise in all, or most of, the subject areas of the stream; workforce strategy, planning, business case and benefit realisation, organisation design and execution Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels (including C-Suite) M&A/Transactions and Finance expertise highly desirable Proven expertise in shaping cross-geography workforce strategies and operating models and execution in complex transformation environments/ecosystems Experience in interpretation of business and technology architecture, dependencies and requirements, preferably in the Financial Services / ANZ ecosystem Experience in leading large streams of work as part of Enterprise-wide programs People leadership experience and adept at fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment and leading, motivating and developing team members You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
