Melbourne Asset Management Contract or Temporary
Our global financial client is seeking an experienced Custody Client Services Manager – Asset Services for a 14-month contract in their Melbourne office.
Scope of Work:
The Custody Client Services Manager will play a key role in supporting all aspects of managing the administrative and relationship needs of our institutional trust clients. You will respond to institutional client inquiries, coordinate client activities, identify opportunities for expanding business relationships, and act as a key consultant to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a key consultant to clients, assisting in formulating best practices, redesigning processes, evaluating and implementing Trust and Custody services through creative ideas and problem-solving.
* Evaluate and ensure overall client satisfaction by facilitating service team efforts, coordinating resources to ensure timely deliverables and issue resolution, and effectively communicating client concerns/needs to partners.
* Develop a complete understanding of the client's business, objectives, goals, and market challenges.
* Assist Relationship Managers in counseling clients on emerging issues, bank products/services, legal/regulatory changes, and general financial environment, translating the impact on client activities and banking services.
* Participate in developing solutions to client needs, coordinate presentations, bring in experts when necessary, and ensure smooth delivery of new services.
Required Experience:
* Direct experience in asset servicing environments.
* Proven experience working in financial servicing/accounting fields with a client servicing background.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
* Ability to understand legal documentation (such as SLA) and provide recommendations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Understanding of reconciliation processes.
* Understanding of institutional payment processes.
