About the businessManj Singh Pty Ltd is an Australian owned & operated Company operating in the regional Western Australia.We are multi specialised business operating predominantly in hospitality industry.We are looking for full time qualified Chef, Cook and Restaurant Manager, We are situated at 124B, Albany Hwy, Kojonup, WA - 6395 ChefResponsibilities:Calculating food and labour costs to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.Working closely with managers, dietitians, kitchen staff, and waiting staff, the focus is on fostering collaboration and addressing operational, nutritional, and customer service aspects to ensure efficient and high-quality food service.Monitors and maintains the quality of dishes throughout every stage of preparation, ensuring that each plate meets high standards in taste, presentation, and adherence to culinary excellence.Ensuring dishes are prepared according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.Ordering ingredients and optimizing inventory to support kitchen operations.Strategically freezing and preserving ingredients to minimize waste and optimize kitchen efficiency.Introducing new cooking techniques, recipes, and menu items to enhance culinary offerings.Participating in the selection and hiring process to onboard skilled and qualified kitchen personnel and training the kitchen staff to perform their duties adequately.Designing menus that balance creativity, seasonal availability, and customer preferences.Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards and maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service.Skills and Experience:Diploma level qualification is required.The candidate must have relevant experience in busy restaurant.Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.To be energetic & motivated.Able to work under pressure.CookResponsibilities:Cleaning food preparation areas and equipping kitchen with the necessary equipment and utensilsCooking food on the menu and decorating with additional ingredients such as sauces and garnishesWashing, cutting, peeling and chopping all ingredients before cookingChecking whether the ingredients can be used for cooking purpose or not such as proper usage of food items before expiry dateOrganizing cooked meals on platter with a good presentation and right portionPreparing particular dietary meals having special nutritional requirements by considering any food allergies as such adding seasoning of right amount in consultation with the client beforehandStoring food items and raw materials in a clean place by regulating the right temperature in order to preserve qualityAssisting chef while developing menus by providing opinionsEngaging in other activities such as training kitchen staffSkills and Experience:Certificate IV qualification is required.The candidate must have relevant experience in busy restaurant.Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.To be energetic & motivated.Able to work under pressure.Restaurant Manager Engage in supervision of kitchen operations to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered .Estimate the food and beverage price and confirm that it is reasonable and does not exceed the budget ceiling.Perform other tasks such as identifying hazards or unsafe conditions and solving issues accordingly.Organizing functions and bulk catering by making necessary arrangements.Scheduling staff work hours and ensuring staff are present during the peak hours.Coordinating to arrange the purchase of supplies in accordance with the restaurant's budgets.Prepare records of daily, weekly and monthly transactions.Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas and ensuring the restaurant complies with cleanliness standards.Maintain records of stock levels and create and implement stock control procedures.Book reservations, greet guests, take orders and arrange payment when required.Plan and regularly review the restaurant's menu in consultation with the chef ensuring that the menu is competitive and attractive.Actively involve in hiring, training and on-going supervision of restaurant personnel.Providing excellent customer service by incorporating client's queries and feedbacks for improving the service.Skills and Experience:Diploma level qualification is required.The candidate must have relevant experience in busy restaurant.Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.To be energetic & motivated.Able to work under pressure.Salary Package for all positions: $70,000 - $80,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
