OUR CLIENTSince inception, our client has been constructing and managing Retirement Villages in Western Australia, establishing a strong reputation as a premier provider of diverse and high-quality retirement options.They are committed to prioritising their residents' needs and continuously seek innovative ways to enhance their experience in their Villages.Their organization, overseen by a Board of Directors, comprises two specialised property divisions that collaborate to deliver outstanding service.THE ROLEConduct routine safety inspections, log incidents in Protecht, and escalate significant issues to GM Operations while suggesting policy updates as necessary.Maintain documentation for consultants and contractors, and engage with residents regarding safety concerns.Collaborate with GM Operations for quarterly risk reviews to identify and mitigate new risks, understanding insurance obligations.Participate in strategic planning to enhance systems, policies, and procedures for the village.Hold weekly meetings with GM Operations to address operational issues, customer service, and contractor-related matters.Enhance knowledge of relevant legislation and residence contracts to ensure compliance and manage contract inquiries and budget issues effectively.Oversee maintenance of residences and facilities according to resident contracts and manage meeting logistics, including preparation and documentation.Operate within the Delegation of Authority and manage the annual village budget, ensuring accurate financial reporting and communication of expenditures to residents.Review residence contracts for budget relevance, develop reporting processes, and foster relationships with Resident and Finance Committees.Create processes for managing resident complaints, feedback, maintenance requests, and queries to ensure timely responses.EXPERIENCEKnowledge of relevant legislation, including the Retirement Villages Act.Proven ability to lead and manage a team to provide high-quality village management and services.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for managing information and documentation.Experience delivering high-level customer service and building strong relationships with elderly residents.Strong contractor management.Business acumen, including financial administration, management, and reporting capabilities.Understanding of risk.Possession of a current valid Driver's Licence and clear police record.IDEAL TRAITSCommitted to taking ownership and accountability for the effective management and operations of a retirement village.Exhibits exceptional oral and written communication skills while maintaining a strong customer focus to foster collaborative relationships with residents and their representative committees.Demonstrates proficiency in managing village finances and addressing complaints, maintenance, and repair issues in a timely and competent manner.To apply, click on the link below or email a confidential CV in Word format only to Jessica Platt at jplatt@goughrecruitment.com.au or call for more information.Please note that due to high application volumes, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.Only Australian permanent residents are eligible to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
