What You'll Do
As a Staffing Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping the consulting experience for our Associate cohort across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You will manage the end-to-end staffing process, ensuring optimal deployment and alignment of talent that meets both our business objectives and the individual development goals of our Associates.
This role requires balancing complex and often competing priorities - client needs, team composition, individual preferences, and firm capacity - while maintaining a people-first mindset. You'll work closely with senior leadership, project leaders, and various People and Business Services teams to deliver strategic staffing solutions that drive both commercial success and employee engagement.
Workforce Planning & Deployment
Manage staffing (resource allocation) for the Associate cohort, balancing a complex set of priorities including client needs for each project, appropriate balance in the tenure and capabilities of the team as a whole, individual Associate developmental goals and experience preferences, geography and travel requirements, etc.
Make thoughtful, data-informed staffing recommendations that align with both short, and long-term business priorities
Forecasting & Reporting
Maintain accurate, real time staffing data in internal systems
Analyse trends in utilization, availability, and capacity to inform strategic workforce planning
Deliver insights that optimize productivity, profitability and engagement

Act as a thought partner and trusted advisor to our staff and senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency, clear communication and sound judgment in all staffing decisions.
Cohort Engagement

Clearly and empathetically communicate staffing outcomes and rationales
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with People and Business Service Teams (BST) to deliver on our people and commercial agendas. For example, you'll work closely with Finance to ensure synergy on case commercials, partnering with L&D to align training priorities with emerging client needs, etc.
Talent Management
Actively participate in relevant Career Development (CD) meetings to provide a staffing lens on individual performance and growth
Contribute to the design and delivery of mentorship, performance management, and development initiatives tailored to the Associate cohort

Continuously improve staffing processes, tools and systems to enhance transparency, efficiency, and employee satisfaction
Support and champion global and regional staffing initiatives, pilots and capability-building projects
