Veterans Academic Success Program Educator Who are we looking for?We are seeking a Veterans Academic Success Program Educator to join Curriculum Quality and Standards, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.The Veterans Academic Success Program Educator will work closely with the Project Manager (VASP) to create academic support materials and resources for the program. Activities include designing the program, creating resources and working collaboratively with other areas of the university. The objective is to assist in the transition and build a sense of community for the veteran cohort through the creation of VASP which will include networking and mentoring opportunities.We're offering this role as a hybrid position as part of QUT's commitment to embracing the opportunities created by a more virtual and connected world.What you need to succeedEducation, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience.Pedagogical expertise in learning and teaching, including demonstrated curriculum design of learner support for non-school leavers and online learning design.Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data using a range of tools and provide strategic advice.Highly effective communication skills, including demonstrated ability to prepare a range of resources for students and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with external stakeholders and staff at all levels to achieve positive outcomes.High level of organisational and workload management skills, including the ability to prioritise work to meet strict timelines.How to ApplyDiscover the possibilities that await with a career at QUT.
