Head of Air Traffic Control - Civil Location: Can be based in Sydney/Canberra or Brisbane Total package of around $250,000 - 300,000 (Base + Super + Bonus + Car allowance) DOE Hybrid working - 2 days a week WFH A senior leadership position responsible for business development and sales growth in the Civil Air Traffic Control market across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific. The role requires strong leadership and strategic management of key accounts, particularly Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), while working closely with peers in related sectors and the executive leadership team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for the ATC domain, setting direction and goals within the broader technology and solutions department. Build and maintain trusted relationships with civil, government, and industrial stakeholders to foster productive partnerships and drive collaborative growth. Manage key accounts within the ATC domain, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded, and expand the organization’s market presence in systems integration and advanced technologies. Work closely with senior management in client and partner organizations, sharing vision and strategic direction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery, meeting or exceeding client expectations. Drive business growth across the ATC sector, including acquisition and sustainment programs. Establish innovation and industrial ecosystems to support disruptive strategies and the development of future capabilities. Align efforts with leaders in other related domains to ensure a unified and integrated approach to the market. Position the company as a thought leader, actively participating in industry discussions and fostering long-term success in the ATC market. Required Qualifications: Proven experience leading high-performing sales teams and developing strategic plans. Expertise in the ATC domain, with deep knowledge of related technologies. Technical background in secure communications or spectrum monitoring for government or civil markets is highly advantageous. Familiarity with UAS/drone technologies and counter-UAS capabilities is a plus. Ability to challenge the status quo and drive customer-focused innovation. Eligibility for security clearance, with preference for candidates holding current NV1 clearance. Relevant technical qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration.
