Racing Australia Within the Australian Thoroughbred Racing Industry, Racing Australia (RA) provides a number of integrated products and services nationally to Principal Racing Authorities (PRA), Race Clubs, Owners, Trainers, Breeders, Jockeys and Racing Enthusiasts. RA also fulfils an important role in managing the industry's racing materials on a national basis.
The Racing Australia Deputy Registrar and My Horse Racing portal is seeking the services of a suitably qualified individual on a Permanent basis to deliver high quality customer service functions to its customer base in our Flemington Office. The role will also include some training in the Licensing department.
Key Functions of the Role: Provide telephone and administrative support in the day to day operations of the Racing Australia Deputy Registrar & My Horse Racing portal as well as to other parts of the business nationally. Assist with the collation and processing of applications (transfers, leases, syndicates, etc) for four states and territories. Assist customers to log in to the My Horse Racing Portal as well as helping them to submit applications through the portal. Key Attributes Include: Willing to learn multiple applications & processes (training will be provided). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Competency in Microsoft suite of products (Outlook essential). Time Management skills. Reliable. Punctual. High degree of Attention to Detail. Good to Have: An understanding of the Racing Industry.
