About this role
You will work under our tested multidisciplinary model of care that has significant, proven benefits for getting our clients onto their best health pathway. Our model uses a comprehensive assessment battery and case conferencing process to inform targeted prescription, with the client journey culminating in ongoing exercise and service participation.
Key responsibilities of this position would include:
4. delivery of group based and 1:1 exercise programs under the guidance of an Exercise Physiologist
5. contributing positively to multi-disciplinary care planning for our clients
6. demonstrating experience in person-centred practice, service continuous improvement, evidence based treatment and service delivery
7. proactively delivering evidence-based reablement pathways that ensure client physical, social and mental health benefits
8. demonstrating willingness to work as part of a team and to increase your personal skill set

About you
We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
9. Certificate IV or higher in Fitness, Exercise Science, Personal Training, Exercise Physiology or equivalent including current accreditation with Physical Activity Australia, AusActive or Exercise & Sports Science Australia
10. Full Current unrestricted Drivers licence
Demonstrated delivery of progressive resistance training programs with older people
11. Sound understanding of healthy ageing and that physical function underpins the ability to remain engaged meaningfully in personally valued pursuits
12. Ability to efficiently analyse information, respond to and advocate on behalf of customer needs
13. Ability to identify best practice fitness program delivery and report to management
14. Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as the ability to maintain positive working relationships with external stakeholders
15. Strong organisational and time management skills
16. Applicants with a Bachelor of Exercise Science or equivalent relevant Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
