About the Role Reporting to the Design Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing CATIA software to design and develop innovative solutions for our engineering projects. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, proficiency in CATIA software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role will ensure we meet key project deliverables while maintaining internal standards and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities and Tasks Utilize CATIA software to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings. Collaborate with design teams to conceptualize and develop new products or improve existing designs. Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Generate technical documentation, including engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and design reports. Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities. Support manufacturing processes by providing design expertise and resolving production-related issues. Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in CATIA and engineering design methodologies. Communicate effectively with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers to address design requirements and feedback. This is a Full-Time position with remuneration commensurate with your qualifications, skills, and experience. Some work outside of standard hours will be required due to the nature of additive manufacturing. About You You will be an experienced Design Engineer with a strong client focus and able to hit the ground running. Ideally, we are seeking candidates who have experience working in an advanced manufacturing environment or Additive Manufacturing experience. Personal Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. 3+ years' experience as a Design Engineer with a focus on CATIA software. Proficiency in creating complex 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using CATIA V5 or 3DExperience. Strong understanding of engineering principles, including GD&T, and materials science. Experience with CAD/CAM integration and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret technical data. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work within established timelines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
