The role
contributes to the financial performance of the CPI by providing key performance and insights. Support the CPI team by building and maintaining the advance suite of self-serve performance dashboards, providing analytical and data science support by providing deep insights and driving a profitable growth to achieve the strategic objectives. Team also provides data and analytical support to strategic and regulatory projects within the CPI business.
What you’ll do (not limited to):
1. Execution of Commercial and Personal Injury Insurance Data and Analytics Strategy with a vision of 2030
2. Drive profitable growth and assist in achieving financial and strategic targets through provision of performance metrics and insights
3. Providing deep insights using advance analytics and data science techniques
4. Drive the strategic thinking and working with Pricing and DET to deliver single data source and continuous build of portfolio and pricing analytics data layer
5. Support CPI teams in various analytics initiatives and provide adhoc analytical support where needed.
What you will bring:
6. Degree in Finance, Business, Actuarial or related field is mandatory
7. Minimum 5 years relevant analytical and leadership experience in insurance or financial industry
8. Advanced knowledge of SAS. At least intermediate level proficiency in Python/R.
9. Strong understanding of ML concepts backed by demonstrable experience and successful productionisation/deployment.
10. Leadership skills and experience in leading a team of highly qualified analysts
11. Sound understanding of insurance data, advance analytics, and modelling techniques
12. Sound knowledge around key financial drivers of insurance portfolios and how these impact financial results.
