Shifts 0730 - 2130), to work at the Chemotherapy Day Unit based at Monash Health Moorabbin. About Us Since opening in 1975, the 147-bed Moorabbin Hospital has become one of Victoria’s leading medical and research facilities, building a tradition of high-quality care for its community. Home to the Monash Cancer Centre, one of Victoria’s premier integrated cancer treatment centres, provided in a longstanding partnership with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The Moorabbin Chemotherapy Day Unit is a 24 ambulatory care unit that operates Monday to Friday, 0700 to 2130. The unit treats, on average, 50 patients a day, ranging from patients with solid tumours to blood disorders. This role's focus will be on being the welcoming face of the Chemotherapy Day Unit Team. The administrative officer will be responsible for admitting and discharging patients who attend the Chemotherapy Day Unit. This will involve coordinating interpreting services and transportation. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised to ensure patient enquiries are referred to the appropriate Monash Health service. About You Health care administration is fast paced, our Administration Officers are an integral part of the team. You are a proactive, experienced health care administrator who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can work effectively in an autonomous role.
