The Head of Environmental & Social Impact will oversee global ESG strategy, partnerships, initiatives andmunication in alignment with thepany's business goals to create genuine social oues. This role will also oversee thepany's philanthropic arm, Iress Impact Foundation.
Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with
1. The overall implementation of ESG strategy and initiatives
2. Developing the 2024 ESG report for publication Feb 2025.
3. Preparing the organisation for Mandatory Climate Reporting legislation.
4. Manage science-based targets to achieve thepany's emissions reduction pathway.
5. Implementing the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion workplan including Iress Connected initiatives.
6. Progress the Reconciliation Action Plan (Reflect) and working group.
7. Assess, analyse and advise the business on material ESG risks and opportunities.
8. Maintain current working knowledge of, and ensuringpliance with all applicable local, state, federal and global environmental and social laws and regulations.
9. Implementing a global corporate volunteering and giving strategy increasing engagement and participation.
What you will bring
Seeking a seasoned ESG professional with experience developing, managing and driving strategy and programming, liaising with senior management and Board of Directors and leading external relationships. You will ideally have a tertiary qualification in an area of ESG such as social impact, economics ormunications and a solid understanding of ESG ratings agencies, reporting frameworks and listedpany practices. In addition to this, the successful incumbent will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to confidentlymunicate with senior stakeholders as well as upholding the highest standards of ethics and accountability.
