See yourself in our team Our crew collaborates with Frontline and Business Banking customers to develop relevant payments data reporting. We aim to reduce the effort of operations investigations and executional processes related to payments data. This involves ingesting, storing, and publishing payments data, including new data, maintenance, fixes, and changes. Additionally, we work with Channels and internal customers to make value-added payments data available. We’re interested in hearing from people who: Apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation. Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision. Analyse business objectives and translate requirements to technical implementation components. Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements. Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features. Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team. Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices. Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform. Lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity. Tech Skills: This is a highly technical role, requiring a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. You’ll be a good match if you have previous experience in: Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN). Programming using Advanced SQL. Proficiency in Spark for large-scale data processing. AWS Cloud services experience and certification. Deep understanding and experience (preferred) with Kafka for real-time data streaming. Dealing with complex File formats and structures. Traditional Data warehouse concepts (Facts/Dims, normalization). Event driven Data architecture.
