The role directly reports to the Project Manager and routinely interacts with Senior Management and Regional Operations.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for project Cost Forecasting, Scheduling/Planning, Progress Measurement & Reporting, Change Management & Risk Management facilitatorDevelops the WBS and CBS for control and requirements as defined by the contract and execution plan.Develops integrated EPC cost and schedule program including reportingDevelops and maintain progress measurement system applicable to the projectAnalyzes cost and schedule data including the PSR and recommends solutions or recovery plans to impacts or delaysMonitors status of risks & opportunities as well as cost and progress trendsUnderstand contract requirements, and risk management and mitigationAbility to setup and maintain a progress measurement systemDetermine the cost breakdown of the control estimate into JDECoordinate and manage the project cost report and forecastManage JDE change order processing, project cost analysis and reportingQuantity trending in the development of quantity adjustments to the forecastManage tracking of direct and indirect expenditure, including forecastingManage tracking of the man-hour expenditure and projectionProvide and maintain cost forecast work sheets supporting the forecast processManage tracking of the construction equipment and consumable usage and projection.Proficient with Earned Value Management, VOWD and Accruals & progress measurementP6 & Scheduling experience a definite assetAdvises Project Management of forecast risks as soon as they are identifiedRegularly interfaces with Senior Management and ClientsQualificationsNormally requires a minimum of two years of experience in planning/scheduling and/or cost engineering or equivalent experience in other functional areas1-3 years Construction/Operations Experience preferred3+ years of experience in Cost Management in appropriate Construction industrySkills and BehaviorsBusiness presence and polishKnowledge of CB&I products and marketsProactively identifies and solves the complex problemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMentally agile and ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlinesProven negotiating ability with high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated business partnering skills with the ability to influence the organizationAdaptability and agility to learn and contribute in varying and complex environmentsA mature business and technical acumen coupled with a drive to achieve resultsExceptional communication and presentation skill, both written and verbalAbility to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management levelProactively embraces and promotes the company's values and culture, including diversity & inclusion and a healthy and safe work environment
