5. Senior School (Caulfield/St Kilda East)
6. Senior School (Wheelers Hill)
Key Responsibilities:
7. Apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies to develop engaging learning outcomes ensuring individual learning needs are catered for
8. Develop, select and use informal and formal, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies to assess student learning
9. Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn, including integrating formative practice and providing continuous feedback
10. Prepare instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for all
11. Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture
12. Contribute to our visible wellbeing program to enable students to thrive and belong
13. Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
General Skills and Qualifications:
14. Hold a current VIT registration
15. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire children
16. Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
17. Must hold and have maintained a current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis training, Asthma training
18. Teamwork and interpersonal skills
19. Time management and organisational skills
Early Learning School SpecificQualifications:
20. Sound understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in the early years
21. Experience and understanding in the International Baccalaureate primary years program is an advantage
22. Obtained a Bachelor of Early Childhood or the equivalent as approved by ACECQ
Junior School Specific Qualifications:
23. Experience and understanding in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years program is an advantage
24. Sound understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in the primary years
Senior School Specific Qualifications:
25. Experience and understanding in the International Baccalaureate middle years program is an advantage
26. VCE experience an advantage
