Teaching - Tertiary, Other (Education & Training) Full time Salary: $112,710 to $133,262 + 17% super + 6 weeks leavePosition: Full time, fixed term appointment until August 2025Research Active Academic Level B - $112,710 to $133,262 paPlus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leaveLocation: Casuarina CampusAbout the PositionAs the Lecturer in Indigenous Knowledges, you will coordinate and teach Indigenous Knowledge and Indigenous Education units at Charles Darwin University (CDU).You will lead the development, delivery, and assessment of academic programs, ensuring high-quality curriculum for both internal and external students, including online versions.About YouTo be successful, you will require:A Higher Degree by Research or coursework Masters in relevant discipline and/or relevant professional experience in the fields of Indigenous Knowledges and Indigenous Education.Demonstrated knowledge of current Indigenous social, cultural, political, and economic issues particularly in relation to Indigenous education.Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and independently under pressure.An emerging research profile of publications/research projects or progress towards a research plan.Commitment to undertake research related to Indigenous Knowledge and Indigenous Education.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an understanding of a university learning environment.Demonstrated ability to teach specialisations in Indigenous Knowledges and Indigenous Education.Knowledge and application of current digital literacies in education.Capability to develop curriculum in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework.Excellent professional teamwork and communication skills.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT).First Nations applicants are strongly encouraged to apply and will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.
