About the Role
As a Senior Graphic Artist, you will be responsible for managing priorities, developing the creative team, and ensuring every creative asset aligns with the style guide. You will work closely with the production manager and studio team to deliver high-quality work that meets business expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the studio team to ensure print, press, and digital related marketing material are delivered to a consistently high standard while meeting business expectations.
* Juggle priorities across multiple departments and work alongside individuals within those departments.
* Support and guide a team of designers, nurturing their skills and overseeing their creative growth.
* Work closely with the production manager and studio team to ensure the studio brief and project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
* A Degree/Certificate in Graphic Design (ideal, not essential).
* Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe Experience Manager (ideal, not essential).
* Experience with Adobe After Effects (or similar animation application) is desirable.
* 3+ years of experience as a Senior Graphic Artist or Senior Finished Artist coming from a fast-paced studio, either at an agency or in-house.
* Strong knowledge of current print prepress, digital production process, and advertising-related technical specifications.
* Experience/capability to lead a studio team.
* Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work from brief to finished art – print and digital artwork for catalogue, press, point of sale, and corporate marketing.
* Excellent communication skills with experience in liaising with all levels of professional hierarchy.
* Extensive work in brand style guide and template development.
