Identify strategies to support well-located housing, addressing supply, density, diversity, and affordability. Prepare implementation strategies for rezoning land and developing environmental planning instruments and development control plans. Engage with Council and stakeholders, preparing reports, policies, and submissions while reviewing government initiatives for implications. Implement Council’s work health and safety system and coordinate volunteer programs per established policies and standards. About You Degree in urban planning, development, environment, public policy, or related fields, with significant relevant experience Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, public sector contracts, and grant-funded projects, including environmental planning. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. Post-graduate qualifications, knowledge of local government IT systems, and familiarity with social and affordable housing programs.
