About Us At Bis, we're committed to delivering better service, better equipment, and innovative solutions across Australia's critical industries.With a reputation for operational excellence, we rely on exceptional talent to lead our teams.We are currently seeking a Planning Manager to drive our operational performance, optimise asset management, and lead our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) strategy.This role can be based in either our North Sydney or Newcastle office with hybrid WFH flexibility available.About the Role As the Planning Manager, you'll lead the development of our Sales & Operations Planning framework, enabling accurate and strategic forecasting across capital, maintenance, workforce, and workshop capacity requirements.Your expertise in proactive planning and asset lifecycle management will be key in setting the standard for reliability and efficiency across these sites.Key Responsibilities Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Experience in developing and implementing an S&OP framework and driving it across the organization.Annual Planning Process: Ability to build, develop, and deploy a comprehensive annual planning process that integrates various functions.Comprehensive Forecasting: Skills in forecasting across multiple areas, specifically: Capital, Maintenance, Workforce Planning, Workshop Capacity (both internal and external).Cross-Functional Leadership : Collaborate closely with Technical Services, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Workshop teams to drive productivity improvements and cost-effective solutions.Supplier Strategy : Work with Supply Chain to establish effective supplier partnerships that meet our quality and timeliness standards.Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of planners (Tactical Planner, Long-Term Planner, and Planning Analyst), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.What You Bring Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.Proven expertise in Sales & Operations Planning and its implementation across an organisation.Strong background in maintenance or production planning, ideally within the mining or heavy industry.Technical knowledge of mobile plant maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and whole-of-life costing.Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.Proficiency with systems and data-driven planning tools, including maintenance management software.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a strategic mindset focused on long-term asset and operational planning.Why Bis?Join a company that values safety, teamwork, and innovation.Bis offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a critical role that's integral to our strategic success.If you have a vision for excellence and a commitment to driving proactive, cohesive planning, we want to hear from you.Apply Now #LI-RP1
