About your opportunity Fixed term temporary full-time, commencing 21/10/2024 to 30/11/2024 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months Provide an efficient and effective accounting service for the Care Recipients of Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility, and a high level of administrative and financial support ot the Director of Nursing/Facility Manager and Business Services Manager as applicable to service operations.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Thorough understanding of appropriate accounting procedures I management of trust and general fund monies including an understanding of the Financial Management Practice Manual. Ability to collate and analyse data and provide reports within required timeframes. Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of Microsoft Officer Applications and Queensland Health software information systems including S4 Hanna, MANADS. Proven ability to work effectively, both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team environment and to communicate effectively with care recipient/ss/clients, their families and staff. Ability to establish credibility with a wide range of people both internal and external through professional work ethic and high level written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to use initiative to identify opportunities for improvement to resolve problems. Possession of tact, diplomacy and discretion in the performance of the duties and responsibilities associated with the position. Thorough understanding of legislative requirements of Workplace Health and Safety, Public Finance Standards and Health Services Act.
