We are seeking an experienced detail oriented full time Bookkeeper to join our team in a medium sized business enterprise in Cronulla, NSW.What you'll be doingManaging accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and reportingProcessing weekly Payroll & HR for employees of multiple entitiesPreparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and BAS reports.Assisting our external accountant with the preparation of tax returnsMaintaining general ledgers and subsidiary ledgersCompleting bank reconciliations and cash flow managementProviding administrative supportEnsuring compliance with accounting standards and taxation requirementsIdentifying opportunities to improve financial processes and proceduresWhat we're looking forMinimum of 5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a small practice or similar environmentStrong working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices and proceduresProficient in using accounting software such as MYOB or XeroProficient in Microsoft office, particularly ExcelExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reportingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem solving and analytical skillsCertificate IV Bookkeeping or equivalentWhat we offerWe are a medium sized business enterprise based in Cronulla.
