As a IT Support Engineer within our Procurement and Support team this goal of this role is to support/manage end- users and Infrastructure services located in our Pepperstone offices to meet Pepperstone business requirements. You will be providing a mixture of 1st and 2nd level support, proactive support as well as participation in project activities, and assisting with the day-to-day operations to support the growth of Pepperstone initiatives. You will be supporting Pepperstone team members from offices across the globe and get exposure to a dynamic and growing Fintech firm.
As our IT Support Engineer, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
1. Responding to 1st and 2nd level technical requests raised via Slack, phone, email, face to face and incident management tool in a professional and timely manner
2. Assisting with prioritizing, scheduling and escalating incidents to appropriate channels
3. Using your strong understanding of Microsoft and Google EUC related technologies to build and support aplex and distributed EUC environment
4. Building and updating the desktop standard operating environments including software and application change and release management
5. Documenting and educating end users with the objective of resolving incidents at first contact and reducing recurring calls
6. Monitor the performance of EUC devices and provide rmendations to ensure the effectiveness SOE & Hardware
7. Occasional out of office hours maintenance visits to assess technical issues or implement new solutions
8. Occasional site visits to other Pepperstone office locations to assist with EUC support.
About you
9. Strong written and verbalmunication skills
10. Certifications/Experience in Windows desktop environments
11. Certifications/Experience in Google desktop environments
12. Experience in a EUC administration and support role
13. Demonstrated experience in the administration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (Intune)
14. Experience on Operating system deployment related issues
15. Knowledge on dmissioning and disposal of IT Assets.
16. Basic knowledge of networking.
17. Basic knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
18. Troubleshooting knowledge of Mac operating system.
19. Basic knowledge of Linux operating system
