The RoleThe IT Corporate Business Partner serves as a strategic liaison between the business and IT functions. This role is critical for fostering collaboration and ensuring that IT initiatives are closely aligned with the organisation's overall business strategy and objectives. The IT Corporate Business Partner is responsible for shaping the IT project portfolio, ensuring it reflects and supports key business priorities. By streamlining interactions and acting as the primary point of contact, the role facilitates clear communication and mutual understanding between IT teams and business units.
Role ResponsibilitiesEngage with business to drive alignment, shape portfolio plans, and deliver the business case and justify through relevant CommitteesAccountable for establishing and maintaining robust relationships with stakeholders across the organisationPromoting better understanding and integration of IT solutions in their various business areasTranslating business needs into development and delivery of the business cases through practical IT projects, guiding the process from ideation to feasibilityLead activities to establish consistent appraisal across the component projects and programsWhat You'll BringYou must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance cultureIdeally you will have formal qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or another related field coupled with experience from a wide range of technical environments and business segments.Bring a wealth of knowledge in business theories, business process management, budgeting, and business operationsWe're keen to know about your strategic planning, project execution and policy development.Communication will be critical to the success of this role; you'll be someone who is able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersIf you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.
