The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE) is responsible for delivering a range of quality applications across various platforms and in support of strategic ICT investment projects including the Time and Attendance Project within Monash University. This includes defining, overseeing and communicating quality requirements for processes, procedures and business outcomes. In particular, the SQAE will implement quality standards and procedures in the system integration development process, including testing strategies, testing preparation and test execution, to ensure that the quality of system integrations meet business requirements and satisfy stakeholder needs.
The SQAE also supports the strengthening of capability and embedding best practice quality systems within the CIO Portfolio by influencing approaches and work practices and encouraging adoption of recognised models.
To be successful the eligible candidate will have:
Substantial experience in the delivery of quality management systems including hands-on use of quality assurance, automated testing and scripting tools and provision of authoritative, expert advice with a focus on system integrations Proven ability to accurately interpret testing needs and produce high-quality technical documentation and ability to quickly develop detailed knowledge of the organisation's business procedures and systems and ensure adherence to these processes Highly-developed relationship management and consulting skills, including the ability to mentor, influence and negotiate with a variety of customers and stakeholders Excellent analytical and evaluation skills including demonstrated experience in problem solving and trouble-shooting in a test environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide authoritative advice and effectively translate and present complex information About Monash University
