$91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Edinburgh - SA The Role The 10SQN Aircrew Publications Officer shall provide technical data knowledge supporting and enacting the publication management system for MC-55 Air Operational Orders, Instructions and Publications (OIP); ensuring the Surveillance and Response Group (SRG) Military Air Operator's compliance with Defence aviation standards, Defence Aviation OIP Manual, and Air Force Information Management Manual (AFIMMAN).As the 10SQN Aircrew Publications Officer, your main responsibilities will include: Ensuring the quality and compliance of the MC-55 Air Operational Publication (OIP) suite with Defence policy.Managing the improvement process for the OIP suite, including coordinating workflows and obtaining approval from various subject matter experts and sponsors.Building and maintaining relationships with peers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify requirements and resolve technical issues.Producing and amending publications that comply with Defence policies and standards.Ensuring the efficient and effective production, distribution, and accessibility of the OIP suite.Independently communicating and coordinating with technical engineering authorities.Supporting the publication management system by delivering training, creating and maintaining bench level instructions, and updating publication management standing instructions.In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the MC-55 Air Operational OIP suite of documents, ensuring their quality, compliance, and accessibility.You will work closely with various subject matter experts, technical authorities, and stakeholders to coordinate and produce accurate and up-to-date publications.Your strong communication and relationship-building skills will be essential in this role, as you will be responsible for engaging and liaising with various parties to identify requirements and resolve technical issues.About our Team Surveillance and Response Group is an Air Force unit delivering multi-domain Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (AISR), Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD), and Air Navigation Support (ANSP) as one collegiate team, comprising over 2400 personnel.The Group Headquarters is located at RAAF Base Williamtown and RAAF Base Edinburgh.SRG delivers a broad range of capabilities through six operational squadrons, one training squadron, three control and one training unit.The majority of work is conducted in an office environment at RAAF Base Edinburgh - Adelaide.10SQN Publications Officer will reside within 10SQN, reporting directly to 10SQN Executive Officer.Our Ideal Candidate Our Ideal Candidate will have: Initiative and experience to analyse, plan, review and adjust priorities and work activities to meet business outcomes.Stakeholder engagement and will be required to support the delivery of services in an outsourced environment to achieve outcomes.Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail.Ability to think strategically and problem solve.Information Pack Opens in new window
