Position Information
Toormina High School is a comprehensive co-educational high school that includes a special education support unit. The school has an enrolment of 750 students including 19% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 3% language background other than English. The school is situated on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, eight kilometres south of Coffs Harbour. The school collaborates within the Bongil Bongil Community of school (BBCoS) comprising several partner primary schools located within Sawtell, Toormina, Boambee, Bonville and Crossmaglen. A highly skilled and dedicated staff provide a wide range of learning and extra - curricular opportunities for students. The key focus of our 2021 – 2025 SIP is improving Literacy and Numeracy outcomes for all students. We have an involved P&C and strong ties to our local Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities.
