We are now seeking a dynamic Joint Venture (JV) Advisor to provide functional support across our Offshore Joint Venture (JV) partnerships. About the RoleThis role will work closely with internal stakeholders and JV partners to drive commercial success, ensure strong JV relationships, and support key decision-making processes.Key responsibilities will include:Developing and maintaining JV relationshipsFacilitating the preparation and submission of JV communications including correspondence, reports, resolutions, notices, AFEs and agreements.Assisting the Asset Performance Manager in devising strategies to execute key commercial optimisations for Beach and JV partners.Enhancing the reporting and accountability of Beach operated JVs.Assisting in the management of JV negotiations and decision framing processes and provide commercial advice across the functions supporting JV operations.Identifying risks/gaps in the existing agreements and develop strategies and tactics to protect or create value for Beach, including proposing and implementing amendments.Ensuring Joint Operating Agreements are managed effectively, and obligations, reporting, deliverables and timeframes are concisely communicated to relevant internal stakeholders.About YouWe are looking for a strong collaborator with highly evolved interpersonal and communication skills who can partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.To be considered, you will also need:Tertiary qualifications in a Commercial, Technical, Business, or equivalent industry experience.Proven experience in Joint Venture management, commercial operations, or a similar role.Strong understanding of Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and Delegation of Authority (DOA) processes.Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.Strong commercial acumen and decision-making abilities.Ability to successfully deal with external parties, particularly in relation to sensitive and complex issues.An ability to build positive work relationships: use appropriate methods and flexible interpersonal style to assist in building cohesive and effective operational working relationships within the organisation and with external parties.About Us A proud Australian pioneer, Beach Energy is an ASX-listed oil and gas exploration, and production company headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia.Founded in 1961, Beach produces gas, oil and natural gas liquids from five basins across Australia and New Zealand, with a strategic focus on the core hubs of East Coast Australia and West Coast Australia.Beach’s vision is to become Australia’s leading domestic energy company by delivering leading shareholder returns through the sustainable supply of energy.How to Apply Beach is dedicated to enhancing gender diversity and increasing Indigenous participation, and we welcome applications from all candidates.Please submit your application, cover letter and current CV by 1 November 2024.For this opportunity you must be eligible to work in Australia.
