We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary teacher to join our vibrant learning community of approximately 1600 students, spanning from P-12. The school offers a professional learning environment, excellent student behavior, and flexibility with a Term 4 start extending into 2025.
About the Role:
* Create and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum.
* Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behavior, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.
* Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.
* Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.
* Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.
* Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.
Requirements:
* Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
* Hold relevant qualifications in Education (4 year bachelor Degree containing minimum 1 year teaching qualifications).
* Current VIT registration required.
* Willingness to support the school's ethos and Islamic faith values.
* Proven experience teaching Primary in an Australian school setting.
* Ability to provide two education-based references from the last 5 years, including at least one from upper management.
