Position Overview
Details of the Division and Team:
Group Strategic Analytics team delivers analytics and applications that solve quantitative problems for businesses across Deutsche Bank Investment Bank. The design, specification and implementation are the responsibilities of strats in close partnership with Trading, Sales, Middle Office and Technology groups.
Core team is focused on delivering a highly scalable asset-agnostic risk valuation system framework for business aligned desk strats to resolve trading and regulatory problems. Solutions to these are all implemented in this in-house strategic platform.
The team is also responsible for the tooling that underpins multiple aspects of the Strat's projects including delivering Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tools including Test Automation and Monitoring as well as Reference Data management and Grid compute orchestration.
It also works with Deutsche Bank Technology groups to provision hardware estate and Control functions to address Regulation and Policy adherence

Your key responsibilities:
* Contribute to the core risk platform in the APAC region and the globally aligned requirement, both in creating new functions and to resolve issues or enhance existing features.
* Adapt global solutions to account for any specific business/regional requirements.
* Support all trading desks and Desk Strats throughout the APAC region, covering the full range of products traded in the region in FIC and EM trading businesses, Treasury and Corporate Bank functions.
* Working in partnership with Trading, Structuring, Technology and control functions to drive the build-out of the core risk valuation trading platform in the whole chain of front-to-back risk management process.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive environment by helping junior and non-core coding members of the team and encouraging them to grow their experience.
Your skills and experience:
* Minimum 5 years' development experience with C++ and working experience in scripting language such as python, JavaScript, Lua.
* Proven track record of developing or supporting of large-scale system programming demand on both Linux and Windows platform, with database (MySQL/SQLite) and middleware (Redis) in distributed and parallel computing environment.
* Working experience in developing on quantitative and analytical modelling, pricing, risk and PnL calculation in fixed-incoming, FX and credit business.
* Hands-on approach to investigate with Inquisitive mind and resolve technical issues from core code base.
* Good communication skills allowing for direct communication with trading desks and support functions globally, both written and verbally.
* Highly motivated with a keen willingness to learn, take on new challenges and deliver complete solution to production usage.
