THE OPPORTUNITY Due to a senior team member retiring our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their friendly and experienced team. In this interesting role you will be responsible for a portfolio of small business services clients. Duties and Responsibilities • Support the Principal with servicing SME clients - established and new businesses • Create and review business plans for start-ups and growth • Review and prepare management accounts • Provide current financial reporting and advice throughout the year • Provide Tax and BAS services for companies, trusts and individuals • Provide SMSF full compliance and administrative services • Ensure client tax obligations are met • Analyse client's performance for year-end tax planning • Oversee bookkeeper and liaise with administration team EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED • 5 years’ experience in business services & tax within a Chartered or Public accounting firm • University degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related fields • CA/CPA qualification or in the process of attaining and / or relevant CA or CPA practice experience • Technology savvy - experienced with accounting software packages e.g., MYOB AE, XERO and BGL is highly regarded Are you a MATCH?
