Role Overview
As an Asset Performance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and cost-effective management of Housing Portfolio assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and managing inspections, services, and performance programs;
* Coordinating the development of quarterly maintenance works programs;
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and contractors, ensuring effective contract management and resolving project conflicts or delivery issues promptly;
* Leading a team of Asset Performance Officers, providing guidance, managing workload allocations, and overseeing staff performance and professional development;
* Oversight of estimating and negotiation processes with contractors, ensuring compliance with government standards and initiating abatement action for substandard work;
* Contributing to compliance, risk, and performance management programs, monitoring program delivery to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets;
* Accurate financial forecasting and expenditure review, contributing to successful program outcomes.
Requirements
* Understanding of the Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards, Government, or commercial probity and contracting standards;
* Relevant qualification and/or sound construction building maintenance and/or building construction experience/exposure, together with field inspection experience and measurement of performance against standards;
* Experience and knowledge of residential property maintenance;
* Experience in managing program of works;
* Experience in managing staff;
* Desirable – experience in compliance inspections of building essential services.
