Job Title:
Planner for Regional Projects, Environmental Planning and Emergency Recovery
About the Role:
This is a fixed-term position until 30 June 2025.
The Planner will work across rural and regional Victoria to deliver the Regional Flood-related Assistance program.
The program provides councils with strategic planning support and resources to help accelerate their flood-related planning scheme amendments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide planning and project management services to support the delivery and implementation of the Regional Flood-related Amendments Assistance Program.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and administer procurement, funding, and resource assistance to support regional councils in implementing flood-related planning controls.
* Assist the Regional Projects team in preparing reports and advice for senior executives and the Minister for Planning and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of program processes and outcomes.
