Job Description
* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.
* Facilitate training and awareness programs to promote a positive safety culture.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
* Provide advice on health and safety issues and best practices.
* Manage the reporting and recording of all health and safety incidents.
* Work closely with management to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
* Promote wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
