About this role
The WA Eating Disorders Outreach and Consultation Service (WAEDOCS) is a state-wide service that aims to ensure youth and adults in WA with an eating disorder can access optimal best practice care. Our multidisciplinary team provides consultation and education to up-skill and support health care professionals to deliver evidence-based high-quality eating disorders care.
As part of the recent expansion of ED services in WA, WAEDOCS has been funded to expand its services. This is an exciting time for the service as we seek to build on our networks with national organisations as well as continue to lead and innovate in the delivery of education, and support of clinicians working with people with eating disorders.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant practises as a Senior Registered Nurse (SRN) in keeping with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board Registration Standards and Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. In this role you will provide clinical leadership and management within the organisation, clinical division and area(s) of responsibility. You will also uphold and function within the core values of the organisation and nursing values of Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork & Integrity.
This role reports to Director Eating Disorders Specialist Services.
