Tooheys is looking for a Technical Officer - Analytical to join our Brewing Quality team. This role will be based at the Brewery in Lidcombe and is a permanent, full-time opportunity .
This is an important role of Quality Management within the Brewery. The successful candidate will be key in maintaining and improving the quality of our products through laboratory and project work. This role includes elements of analytical chemistry, microbiology, quality support administration, plant quality and instrumentation support, analytical instrumentation calibration and maintenance, brewery-based projects, beer flavour assessment, and QA product assessment. This is a great stepping stone for those interested in a career within the brewing industry.
The successful candidate will have a blend of the following skills and experience:
* Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
* Project management experience
* Ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
* Experience in QMS, HACCP, SPC, GMP
* Use, repair, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analytical instrumentation
* Knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence - TPM
* Degree qualifications in biological sciences, chemistry, food technology, microbiology, or related disciplines are essential
* Some knowledge of the brewing process would be beneficial
