About the role
JR Plumbing & Gas are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Fitter/Plumber/Supervisor to join our team in Bundaberg, Queensland.
This full-time role will see you overseeing the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of gas appliances and systems for residential and commercial customers in the local area.
What you'll be doing
Supervising and coordinating a team of gas fitters and plumbers to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations Troubleshooting and diagnosing gas system issues, then developing and implementing solutions Performing gas appliance installations, maintenance and repairs Providing technical advice and guidance to customers on the safe and efficient use of gas appliances Preparing detailed job reports and maintaining accurate records Liaising with clients, suppliers and regulatory authorities as required Ensuring all work is completed in a safe manner and in compliance with relevant health and safety legislation What we're looking for
Formal gas fitting qualification (such as a Certificate III in Gas Fitting) and a valid driver's licence Minimum 10 years' experience as a qualified gas fitter and plumbing, with proven track record of delivering high-quality work Excellent technical knowledge of gas systems, appliances and regulatory requirements Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve issues Exceptional communication and customer service skills Ability to effectively supervise and lead a team of tradespeople Commitment to workplace health and safety What we offer
