If so, we look forward to receiving your application.Our best work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure the portfolio of contracts in the business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard procedures.Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions. Analyze prime contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk, such as ambiguities, omissions, and conflicts, as work proceeds. Cooperate with legal to draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements during the Sales and Project Execution phases. Support Sales in RR preparation and in the contractual session working closely with local legal and the tendering team.Identify the contract baseline (including terms and conditions, specifications, drawings, estimates, proposals, schedules, and other documents incorporated in the contract) and highlight areas of potential risk. Ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects in the portfolio of contracts (i.e., payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, provisions, guarantees, etc.). Verify that both parties to the contract have fulfilled their contractual obligations and that there are no responsibilities outstanding. Assess the success of the contract and determine if there are any lessons learned for future contracting. Document and communicate to all appropriate parties any deficiencies found as part of the closeout process.Develop contract management competence with other functions of the company by conducting pragmatic training periodically.Provide guidance and leadership on contract management-related matters to cross-department business team members, participate in claim negotiations, and provide professional support where required regarding purchasing activities ensuring the flow down of customer terms and conditions to the vendors.Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundDegree in law or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant fields such as Risk Management, Contract Management, Legal, or Commercial Roles.Extensive experience in Contract Management functions and processes in project execution of EPC energy projects or similar industrial plants or manufacturing of complex industrial products.Experience in working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners preferred.Solid experience in contract negotiation, change management, claim management, and contract-related legal issues and the possible effects in the relevant areas of responsibility regarding the tendering stage and/or project execution.Behavior and dealing with foreign cultures (Ethical Conduct).Systematic and structured work style.Flexibility and adaptability according to specific requirements.Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment, result-oriented approach, proactivity, and open-mindedness.A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong written and verbal communication skills.Advanced English skills.
