About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Multi-Ste Administrator to provide management and administrative support to the existing ministries of The Leongatha and Wonthaggi Corps.
Reporting to the Corps Officer, this is a permanent part-time position, 18 hours per week, based in Leongatha and Wonthaggi, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Clerks Private Sector Award Level 3.
You will successfully
* Conduct administration of Corps and Thrift Shop Finances (processing finance data, generating invoices, processing reimbursements)
* Manage volunteers: induction, training, paperwork and ensuring all volunteers have up-to-date WWCC and police checks
* Collection, management, and processing of corps mail
* Assist the Corps Officer in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of effective database to capture Corps data (i.e Planned Giving and SAMMIS)
* Create and schedule content for Corps Social Media & maintain the Corps website, ensuring information is relevant and up to date
You will have
* Certificate III in business administration or equivalent, and/or demonstrated relevant experience
* Experience in an Accounting/Finance environment (desirable)
* Experience in recruitment/supervision of volunteers
* Relevant experience in business administration and office management in a church context preferred
* Working knowledge of property maintenance needs and responses (desirable)
* Knowledge and oversight of WHS regulations (desirable)
* Sound level of computer literacy and social media knowledge
* Sound presentation and communication skills (oral and written)
* Demonstrated understanding of pastoral life and church culture
* A current and valid Working with Children's Check
* A current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence
