How you’ll make an impact
The Marketing team takes a strategic approach to marketing aligned to AMP’s segment strategy and is responsible for the development and delivery of all marketing campaigns, collateral, customer engagement activity, data analysis, insights and digital.
As the Content Writer and Strategist, you will drive innovative content creation for our in-house team within the Brand, Creative, Content & Social Media function, developing and implementing content strategies that align with our brand goals and marketing objectives.
You’ll make an impact by:
* Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with our brand goals, marketing objectives, and target audience segments.
* Ownership of AMP Content playbook and strategy
* Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all content touchpoints across the marketing team.
* Conduct content audits and research to identify trends, keywords, and topics relevant to our industry and audience.
* Work together with subject matter experts, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality, informative, and engaging content.
* Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for various platforms, including our website, insights hub, social media, email campaigns and more.
* You will drive the uplift of our customer newsletter by focusing on segmentation, targeting, and tailoring content to suit different audience segments, ensuring that each piece of content resonates with our diverse customer base and aligns with our brand objectives.
* Ability to write to brand guidelines and meet business requirements relevant for AMP Enterprise, including our banking, super, and wealth products.
* Ability to take complex information and make it reassuringly clear and simple with copy that connects and makes an impact.
* Implement search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and ensure all content is optimized for search engines to increase organic traffic and improve search rankings.
* Research and stay up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization (SEO), content trends, and consumer behaviour.
* Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to refine strategies and improve results.
What you will bring to the team
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in content strategy and writing, preferably within financial services experience either client side, agency side or in-house creative team
* Experience using back-end platforms, such as CMS tools, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), analytics tools, and creative software for content creation
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
* An understanding of advertising, social and content digital channels and how to create for variety of channels and expertly adapt copy to suit creative channels
* A keen understanding of brand strategy, customer value propositions and how to write based off insights and data
* Experience applying human-centred design principles to content creation
