About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated People & Capability Advisor to join our client’s team in Geelong. This role is perfect for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing strategic HR support across all levels of the firm.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with workplace regulations, and supporting employee engagement and development. Additionally, you will oversee facilities management, ensuring a well-maintained and professional office environment.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with leadership to implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to onboarding
* Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, conduct performance reviews, and assist in employee relations matters
* Identify training needs and support career growth initiatives
* Assist with salary benchmarking and benefits administration
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
* Promote a safe and positive work environment
* Oversee the maintenance and functionality of the Geelong office, liaising with external service providers
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring:
* At least 2 years of experience in a People & Capability role.
* A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
* Proven HR generalist experience, ideally in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in office/facilities management (desirable, but not essential).
