Griffith, Full Time, Trades & ServicesPlease Quote Reference Number 98380Proven experience working with pump and filter stationsAttractive remuneration including company vehicleJoin Riverina Water Engineering - GriffithAn opportunity has recently become available for an experienced Service Manager to join our team (based at our Griffith branch).Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:Overseeing and carrying out service work for irrigation systems and pumps, including diagnosing and repairing farm systems, pipelines, pumps, pump stations, automation controllers, valves and filters.Working alongside the Project Manager and Procurement Officer to ensure works are properly resourced with sufficient staff, tools, materials and machinery to enable works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner.Liaising with staff and customers in respect of onsite works, work schedules, troubleshooting options and proposed solutions.Delegating, leading and supervising field crew on site to ensure efficient and accurate completion of works.Reading, understanding and implementing irrigation plans and designs.Ensuring work sites meet all relevant WHS, quality and risk management standards and all applicable WHS and quality management paperwork is completed.Modelling safe work practices for all staff, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.Maintaining accurate records for completed jobs.Providing excellent customer service and maintaining and developing positive relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers.To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate previous irrigation industry (or closely related) experience, in particular, experience with pump and filter stations.You will also need to possess:A positive, passionate and proactive attitude and a desire to work within a challenging and diverse work environmentAn ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and people management / leadership skillsNational License to Perform High Risk Work - LF (to be obtained on job, if not current)Current Drivers Licence (Manual)Competency based assessment for use of other Plant and Equipment including Trencher & ExcavatorConstruction Industry White CardIn return, you will enjoy:Above award remunerationWork vehicle with tools suppliedAnnual leave loadingUniform allowanceA constant focus upon safe work practices, staff development and career progressionA diverse, flexible, supportive and collaborative work environmentProsperous regional living and work/life balance with limited travelBeing part of a group of companies that promotes and sustains a community co-operative approach for our customers, providing the highest level of service and commitmentThis is a full time position working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (including some Saturdays as required).
