The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for the preparation of tax compliance and consulting obligations in relation to corporate income tax returns, tax effect accounting, global transfer pricing and international reporting obligations.You will work both independently and collaboratively with the wider Finance teams and the wider business. To be successful in this role, you will require an analytical approach and can demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting and corporate tax. This role is to be based in Adelaide and will report directly into the Tax Manager.This is a full time, permanent position.Role ResponsibilitiesTimely and accurate preparation of the following Australian and New Zealand tax obligationsCorporate income tax returns and associated schedules, including documentation of key tax positionsTax effect accounting calculations and associated tax notes for annual statutory reportingFringe benefits tax returnsTransfer pricing calculationsTax journals and account reconciliations for tax sensitive GL accountsEnsuring all tax payments are prepared and lodged on timeAssisting with the preparation of various international tax reporting requirements, including tax compliance tasks for other foreign jurisdictionsAssist with research, analysis and preparation of tax technical positionsAssist with collating information for Tax authority reviews as requiredAssisting with any ad hoc tax and accounting related tasks, as requiredWhat You'll BringAt least 3 years experience working in corporate tax (either in professional services or industry)University degree in Accounting/Law or relatedCA or CPA qualified (or equivalent e.g. Graduate Diploma of Taxation, Masters of Tax etc)Sound knowledge of Australian tax lawsProficient Microsoft Excel skillsFlexibility with some occasional travelFlexibility with out-of-business hours work when aligning to different time zones might be requiredProfessional written and verbal communication skillsGood planning skills and ability to prioritiseAbility to work autonomouslyAble to multitaskAptitude for process improvementAbility to think analyticallyProblem solving capabilityTeamwork and collaboratorWhat You'll GetAccolade Wines will provide the ideal climate and a hand-picked rewards package for you to make a difference in our successful and growing business.
