The Opportunity
This is a key front-line role, responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the depot, including operational delivery and compliance, managing systems, liaising with our drivers, rostering and reporting.
* Position located in Wesley Vale
* Assisting Managers to implement business plans and strategic objectives for the site as well as assisting in the planning and delivery of school, route, special event and charter services at the depot.
* Maintain good business relationships with all stakeholders and staff and develop a collaborative working relationship (both internally and externally), focusing on excellence in service provision and individual performance.
* Manage day-to-day staff resource allocations for the depot. This includes maintaining drivers’ rosters. Assist your managers to implement cost-effective staffing strategies.

The boxes you'll tick
* Must be available between 6:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
* Previous experience in transport, logistics or operations preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
* Minimum MR Driver's License is preferred but not essential
* Drivers Accreditation is preferred or willing to obtain
* Current First Aid certificate is preferable or willing to obtain
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Excellent planning and organisational ability – including the ability to perform under pressure, and meet deadlines
* Excellent customer service focus
* Demonstrated ability to follow policies and procedures
* Intermediate computer literacy, including the ability to utilise integrated software systems (TIMS knowledge is preferable)
